Cultural prism
The spectrum of layered colors comprising hazel eyes often adapts to its surrounding environments causing others to perceive those reflections of hues in different ways. Some may see a gradient of chestnut brown to moss green while others may see slate grey with flecks of honey gold. The mission of Hazel Coasts is to likewise serve as a prism of cultural exchange by extracting, reflecting, and promoting the authenticity of coastal regions where we are involved. Each geographical area holds its own unique characteristics - its terrain, its climate, its culture - that sets it apart from others.
Handmade preservation
With each and every Hazel Coasts purchase, you are not only investing in a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted product or tailor made experience for yourself, but you are also investing in others by supporting local artisans, their diverse communities, and the preservation of traditional craft and cultural distinction from one generation to the next. Each ethically sourced product by Hazel Coasts is handmade by skilled artisans and designers. Many of the products share a common thread of utilizing traditional forms of craftsmanship specific to the region, while also offering a versatile, modern twist that makes it easy to place in a range of eclectic settings. Behind each product, each person, each place is a story to be told.
